Good home base for travelling to Rumilly-les-Vaudes and exploring local places. Variety of goodies for breakfast. Coffee and a kettle in the room, peaceful and lovely location. Location close enough to a nearby supermarket as well as the grounds of the owners home in a quiet village about 10 miles south of Troyes. Also, in a more built up area.

The free bikes were a game-changer for exploring the picturesque surroundings. Pedaling through the countryside felt like flying on a magical unicorn, with the wind in my hair and the beauty of nature all around. It was like being in a fairytale brought to life!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly, despite the language barrier. They were able to communicate with me and even directed me to a nearby supermarket. The hotel had great facilities, including a small terrace with a table and chairs, as well as an indoor pool for guests to use. The room and shower facilities were clean and comfortable. Additionally, the breakfast provided was typically French and delicious, with homemade coffee and pancakes. The hotel is located in a quiet village, which offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I had a wonderful and enjoyable visit.
Nothing negative to say.

The owners were so welcoming and friendly, despite the language barrier. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, including a microwave to prepare our own meals. We loved having our breakfast on the small terrace, enjoying the fresh eggs and homemade bread and jams. The indoor pool was a bonus, perfect for a refreshing swim. The rural location provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, and there were nearby food outlets for dinner.
Finding the entrance was a bit tricky, but the owners eventually came out and guided us. The early morning noises, like the cockerels and the saw mill, were a bit disruptive at times.

the owners of this lovely place were extremely warm and hospitable. They clearly take pride in their establishment and it shows. One of the highlights of my stay was the swimming pool, which was a perfect way to relax. the pool-side breakfast was exceptional, with everything homemade including fresh eggs, homemade bread, and delicious jams. the owners also had a variety of birds around which added to the charm.
